February theme & challenge

We are celebrating the love we have for our horses ALL month long. The theme of this month is “Love the Horse You’re With.” We know our riders have their favorites, but we want to celebrate all of our horses this month. We are challenging our riders to find positive things to enjoy about all of our horses, even the ones that aren’t their favorite.

Our February Challenge is to draw a heart… going forwards and while backing! Because we love our horses to the moon and back!

Beginners: Walk into and through #1 and #2. Then out and around to come down through #3 and out through #1. Turn horse around to face #1. Then step into #1 and back all the way out.

Intermediate: Walk into and through #1 and #2. Then out and around to come down through #3 and out through #1. Turn horse around to face #1. Step into #1 and through #2. Then back all the way out of #2 and #1 the same way you walked in.

Advance: Step into #1 and through #2. Step to the right to step into #3 and end in #1 facing down. Then back your horse the way you walked through…back up through #1 and into and through #3. Then back them around and into #2 and on through into #1. Rider and horse should face the same way they began.
