Homeschool Entrichment

This program introduces homeschooled children to basic horsemanship and farm animal care. Participants learn important qualities, such as patience and compassion. Our goal is for the students to leave this program with a newfound knowledge of horse and animal care, as well as an appreciation for hard work, for animals, and for themselves.

This program is 2 hours and runs during the school year. We are a vendor for a few homeschool programs. If you are a homeschool family, check with your school to see if we are a vendor.

The Details
Classes are once a week at the student’s assigned time. We do not offer makeup classes. Classes may be cancelled due to rain, excessive heat, or if a horse is not ok to work (horse injury and sickness can happen).

We recommend students to be 7 and older, but it is not required. Due to the nature of this program students should be able to take direction well and control their bodies.
