We welcomed 10 students to SpiritHorse on Labor Day for a fun morning of learning. The kids enjoyed meeting all of our animals including Trevor the goat, Gypsy the sheep, Miss Donkey the donkey, and our miniature horse Spirit. They learned the different grooming tools we use to groom our horses and then the kids paired up with each other and were assigned a horse to work with for the day.
Once the horses were all groomed up, the paired up partners took turns learning to lead their equine partner and ride them. Our next Day Camp is our Halloween Trail Trick or Treat on October30th from 12-2pm and registration is through our Participant Portal.
